Hi, I have finished a log cabin crib quilt in bright colors and am trying to use up some of my stash fabrics. I have selected a deep golden solid yellow for the backing but am having trouble deciding between either the yellow or green blotchy fabrics for the binding. Can you help me here? The yellow blotchy one has the dark gold as a background with a darker gold mixed in but the green goes well with some of the pattern on the front...decisions, decisions! Thanks much!

I think that thin binding accent in the green would really pull out the greens in the quilt. Besides that, it would add another brightness that is good for a baby's development. Your green has a lot of light yellow green marbling in it.

I usually cut 2 1/2" strips and iron folded in half for my bindings so it would be just enough of an accent I think. Thanks!

Also this quilt will be up for grabs when I finish it next week! My boys are older and right now I know of no one who is having a little one. So if you are interested please pm me! I have no set price just maybe some fabric or referrals for new projects in return? I will post pics of the finished crib quilt when it's done!
