I enlarged the reversible purse on Martha Stewart's website at my daughter's request. This is a fast and fabulous gift or item for a craft show. Just download Martha's pattern & enlarge it. I taped 4 pieces of copy paper to make the bigger pattern , and made one strap longer. You put the long strap through the short strap, and wear it on your shoulder or arm. Takes 3/4 yd fabric of 2 pleasing designs and you get enough scraps for 8 7" squares. I use 7" squares for Quilts for Kids. Try it for Mother's Day or for a special graduate or how about (for a change?) you make something for yourself!

Have you done the zipper rose? Another big hit. Glue gun, long metal zippers

Would you please tell me how much you enlarged the pattern from the Martha Stewart site?

Your fabric choices are outstanding! I like your idea:-)

    Thanks....

I taped 4 pcs of computer paper together and sketched the bag. It is about 14 x 14 ", with the handles making it totally 25". The longer handle is 12" & the shorter one is 4" long.

Just put the long handle through the short one & put it over your wrist or shoulder. I have a dreadful time sending photos but my tutor will be home from college soon!
