    Ha! I was just thinking that it looked like a wood inlay floor. Then I thought, "Cathedral Floor" because it is like a Cathedral Window quilt in the shape of the blocks.

    One thing I learned is that I should have used Elmer's glue to attach the flange before sewing it. I used a large stitch close to the edge to sew it to the black and it wanted to draw up the length of the black slightly. Had I glued it first, like a binding, it wouldn't have done that.

    Because of this, it made the outer border just a tiny bit wavy though it was cut the correct length (I double checked). I can fix that with some starching and a damp pressing cloth but, thought I would mention it.
