    Fair blue ribbon

I decided to enter this in the fair. It was my first try at Hawaiian quilting- hand appliqued and hand quilted ( I posted when I finished it). I was on the fence about entering but after reading QuiltLady1941's post about whether she should enter her quilts I decided to go for it. Was surprised to see I won a blue ribbon.

Well deserved! It’s gorgeous! I’ve always loved Hawaiian quilts but never made more than a pillow cover.
