I got a blue ribbon at the fair!

I decided to enter my paper pieced wallhanging in our county fair and got a blue ribbon with honor star. I haven't entered anything for years but figured why not?

Very lovely! Would you mind telling us where you found the pattern for the border? Is it dimensional?

Yes, the border is dimensional - made with the Double Diamond ruler

But after you cut the border with that ruler, how do you attach it? It doesn't look fused or appliquéd? It's fascinating.

I'm glad you won a blue ribbon; it is a beautiful piece. It's nice judges are recognizing foundation piecing since it is really a very old form of quilt making and not something brand new.
