I do know one thing though - I don't need to start investing in another hobby so if I can purchase these types of embroideries already made up it would be cheaper for me in the long run. It would also take me another lifetime to learn how to do them and then use up all the materials I would have to buy to accomplish this.
Unfortunately - these are made from machine embroidery designs, and I stitched each out. Do not know where or even if, you could purchase these already stitched out.

Designs are by CHARMING STATIONS - and are expressly designed to be used with the mylar underlay. YES the mylar is machine washable and dryable - and can even be ironed if a press cloth is used.

GALE - Thank you for posting the link to this site. I never remember to do the obvious! These designs stitch out very quickly, and are so adorable on baby/toddler items.....With the mylar they recommend, the finished product really does stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use.

Wow! I just love it. Where do you buy your mylar? I seem to have trouble with quality mylar.
