    Oh...I love that pattern, I have it earmarked in my magazine. Maybe I'll make it next fall. You did a great job on the flying geese. I was even thinking of doing some other kind of square in place of the flying geese and triangles, because it looks like a lot of work. Thanks for sharing the photo of your beautiful work! Sally

    Thanks. I got a little burned out on the quilting, so I haven't touched that part in almost a week, but I'm going to take it up again this weekend. I'm not far from finishing.

    really nice job!! :) I am a new quilter and have a terrible time getting triangles to line up properly, I think you did a wonderful job. I love the beautiful colors and the pumpkin squares were a great idea.

    very pretty quilt.

    Calico--blue and orange go together well because they are complimentary colors--opposite of each other on the simple color wheel. Other complimentary pairs are red and green as well as yellow and purple.

    It looks great! Flying geese quilts are my favorite and I sure cannot see where it didn't line up. Love the pumpkins too.
