Red face Great idea using pre-quilted background fabric!

Pre quilted background fabric to start, appliqués pumpkin and letters, which I did cut out myself from templates, and synthetic fabric leaves purchased in a package of about 30 from the Dollar store. Working with metallic thread for the first time took the most time and I still need to work on the correct setting for my machine. I was glad when that portion was over. I am very pleased and I can't wait to see my mom's smile when I give it to her.
Thanks for sharing your fantastic ideas...Your Mom is going to love this!

Thank you do much, but I can't take credit for the design of this pumpkin. It is from A Bright Corner and is on the Thermoweb.com site. I only enlarged the pattern for my wallhanging. They show it used on a terrific table runner. I wanted to stay away from Halloween colors and like the use of the fabrics better. The paisley came from my stash and I don't remember if I used it before, maybe on a strip quilt. It actually has a sticker from Walmart of all places, but is a nice fabric and I plan to use more of it as a backing for some mug rugs. I also love paisley so and anything with a turquoise color always catches my eye. Look up the website, it is also on Pinterest and give it a try!

I love everything about your wall hanging, especially your choice of the paisley fabric. Never would have thought to use that but it sure makes your pumpkin POP!

Here is the link to the pattern: http://thermoweb.com/blog/heatnbond-...-table-runner/
