I did a quilt for painiac last week and sent it home. I guess I must have deleted the pictures of the whole quilt but I did find one of some of the leaves that I did detailed quilting on. When she sent the quilt to me, she told me that the leaves were more or less just glued on and my job was to secure them with the long arm. I was scared I would foul them up. But, I was please with the outcome. I took the advice of some of the members here on how to gain more control over the free motion end of my machine. What do you think???

here is the link to the post where I got all of the good information. What helped the most was putting pressure on the fabric by lowering my bar to where the quilt was flush up against my quilt so that the machine was harder to move and couldn't jump away from me if I hit a seam or something. Hope this helps you too.
