So glad the old quilt was saved!! It washed up and quilted very well. I'm currently working on one that was in my MIL's belongings when she passed. Since she didn't sew, I think it may have belonged to her MIL, my hubby's grandmother. At any rate, last year I took it apart cause the batting and backing were a wreck. Then I set it aside for other projects. This week, I went back to it. Am making a new, simply pieced backing for it and then am going to finish the front - a few repairs- then start it as a hand quilt project. I need a hand project to take in the RV or to the TV -keeps me moving and awake! Happy summer.

Iraxy, she hasn't seen it and I'm not sure she will. She has 17 cats and she will want to keep it and they will ruin it, so perhaps best that I keep it to myself. I need to think about it.

Omacookie - the house will come in good time. When is a mystery, but I have faith!
