    I love how the black breaks up the colors in your block. I hope you post a finished product when you get done.

    Stab stitching is a way of hand quilting. I can't master getting multiple stitches on the needle, then pulling the needle through. So I just poke the needle vertically down through the quilt and poke it up through again! One stitch at a time but works or me!

    I really like the block and the quilting design. Am making a quilt using a fan design too, yours gave me the courage to forge on. Thanks for sharing.
