OHHHHH to have a view like that You both did a wonderful job and glad the young one had someone to show her the ropes.
The only thing bad I see...IMO...I really don't know how much quilting I would get done with that beautiful view

Awwww, that is awesome. What a blessing to have the opportunity to get her started on a lifelong hobby that she will always enjoy. Good job. Both quilts are lovely also.

What a neat weekend you must have had - and the pictures you posted show it. Heidi is luck to be close by so you can take her under your arms and mentor her. I'm glad to have the picture (I printed the first one) so I can look at it as I sew on your quilt. Gee, too bad you weren't working on a bargello quilt!!!

Wonderful way to spend some time teaching a young person to love quilting. I admire you.

[QUOTE The only thing bad I see...IMO...I really don't know how much quilting I would get done with that beautiful view [/QUOTE]

The days are fairly rare that I can sit out on the verandah and quilt all day, that was one of the most magical days I have had in the 30 years we have been going to the shack. There is usually a breeze that plays havoc with the fabrics by lunchtime so usually only get a few hours sewing. Another 4 days at the shack this coming weekend - more sewing
