That is a beautiful quilt , such wonderful work by you and the piecer. You added just the right touch to each block.

I tried to put something different in each block. That was taxing on my brain!!

I love that you quilted each block differently. I bet it was hard coming up with a different design for each, but it looks gorgeous.

I like that the piecer sashed each block. Many of the Farmer's Wives quilt I've seen do not have sashing and the individual blocks get lost. You can really see them in this quilt.

I wasn't sure whether to quilt the sashing or not, but decided not to so it would really offset the blockx.

That quilt is truly gorgeous! Never seen such lived colors and beautiful quilting. You should be proud. Wish I could make one half as nice. Oh well, maybe some day........

I bet you were ... when my LAQ did my FWS, she said she was totally drained after too! She also did every quilt block differently. And soon, I'll be delivering her my PC, for the same great quilting. So many of the blocks are so similar to mine in fabric and colour placements, that I kept feeling that it was my quilt. Weird feeling!! Congratulations to you and your customer/friend for another great FWS finish!

Really? I don't think there has been one here on the QB shown without sashing.
