    you are amazing!! you got that done so fast, it would have taken me days! i'll pray for gaylene, that she gets better and they can help her, that God will give her the strength to monitor things better. you deserve a long soak and a good sleep after your day today!!

    Well, I went to tie it, I even strung the entire thing. Stepped back and I just didn't like it. So I left in the ties as basting and removed them as I machined quilted it. I'm not a great machine quilter but it looks a lot nicer this way. I just finished sewing the binding on. 11:15 pm

    Tomorrow I will hand-stitch the binding (my favorite part) and tuck all the ends from the machine quilting in and then I plan to take it to her tomorrow afternoon. Boy, does my back hurt! :)

    WOW your fast, I've made 3 more blocks tonight and taking a break, wish I could sew like that...thats why Im taking a break my back hurts to...

    Its pretty quilt...

    Can you tell us the name of the pattern? I saw it in your first pictures but could not make out the name. I'd like to try that pattern.

    Have been watching this thread from the beginning and it has made me feel so many emotions. Your skills, generosity and perseverance are astounding and the support here has been amazing. The quilt is fabulous. Good luck to Gaylene.

    Not only are you amazing, but this was very entertaining.

    The quilt is a beauty.. Hope DH did the cooking and cleaning for you while you worked.
