I love snowmen too! I saw your posting on that, I made the snowman collector with machine appliqué .... and I did a BOM with Bunnyhill snowmen by hand appliqué... and I did Winter Wonderland with hand embroidery.... and I am now doing snow ladies with Chickadeehollow patterns with hand embroidery..... one can never have too many snow people quilts!.... oh yeah I have a snow babies quilt/wallhanging I hand appliquéd too!

Back to my penguin sashings... thanks for the ideas everyone, yesterday I decided to use a different colour for each section of the sashing and managed to get those together before heading out for the evening. After my walking group this morning I'm going to do the first border in those colours alternating with the black to get a colourful checkerboard... at least that's what I decided in the night
