It is a beautiful quilt. I'm sorry about your friend. My sister was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May and was told she had 3 to 6 mo, she had 3 surgeries and chemo and passed in Sep. I miss her something awfull. I embroidered her a throw with angels on it for when she went to chemo. I also had her covered with it in her casket.
