Default Finally finished Bunny Quilt

Finally finished this quilt I started months ago, before an unexpected cardiac by-pass surgery and recovery. (Whew!) I was trying to find a way to use up some of my miscellaneous fabrics and decided to do a nine-patch. One of my friends (Susan Pacheco) was making templates for a quilt of appliqued and embroidered bunny-rabbits, and kindly let me use her templates to use as alternate blocks between the 9-P blocks. At first it was going to be a simple lap quilt, but was so much fun, I made it bigger. Then found out I could no longer hand quilt because of arthritis, so I had another friend (Marilyn Smith) machine quilt it with pretty vines and some special bunnies in the corners. I like the way it turned out so I am keeping it to remind me that there is always happiness in spite of setbacks.
The picture was made hanging sideways on a line in the back yard, so I turned it sideways for easier viewing.
Thanks for looking.
Roberta

Very cute! I have been there and done that. I go in the 19th of march for another angiogram. Hope that you are feeling better. It is a rough road back.

Your quilt is awesome. I purchased the book about 2 years ago and only made a few bunnies for easter last year.

That is sooooo adorable. I'm glad your surgery went well and I hope you remain well for a long, long time.
