This is beautiful. How long did it take for you to get this far. Any tips that you would offer to someone (like me) that would love do make one of these.

Such a peaceful quilt. Thanks for sharing the original fabric. Gives lots of thought to using floral prints in such a beautiful quilt

This quilt has been in my head for 3 years. Life got in the way. I now have time and the frame of mind to enjoy the process. I cut the strips in March. I work full time so only worked on it on the weekends for a couple of hours.
I made 54 blocks. It took a couple of hours to sew, trim and press each round of logs. I spent a day squaring. pressing and starching the blocks.
My advise is to not hurry if you are strip piecing. You need to be very accurate or the blocks get out of whack.
Square up halfway thru, then again after all logs are added.
I didn't have a pattern. My floral logs are 2 1/2 inches and the greens are 1 1/2. I looked at pinterest to get ideas for layouts. Start in the middle laying out the blocks. Take a picture when finished to make sure they are in the correct direction.
