You are being hard on yourself. Babies love bright color and it has a interest for the parents too. They will be so happy with it. It is a great baby quilt. A one of a kind!

Adorable. made a baby quilt for my nephew yesterday with Mom and until it was done, couldn't tolerate working on it! Yours is really cute.

Looks GREAT to me and I know baby and parents will love it: U R tooo hard on yourself but I know what u mean. If I just leave it for awhile and go back to it - seems to work out OK.
