I have to say they are all so cute, but as always Sue is my favorite. I have a soft heart when it comes to Sunbonnet Sue!

Thanks guys for all your kind words! Actually my hubby and I dont celebrate Halloween at all. The Frankie monster quilt I made for my niece and the scarecrow quilt is for harvest and presently hangs in my Sunday school class room. I have made dozens of bonnet babies quilts and love to make them. My husband Rick helps me baste my quilts becuse they are spray basted and my asthma makes it impossible for me to participate. He is also pretty good about carrying large loads of fabric from stores to the truck ...he has nice muscles.. heee hee We make doll houses together and he is fun to work with. most times. I have more quilts i can show you . How long do I wait between times so as not to be selfish?

I think what you are seeing on the little Sue is the printed pattern of the background fabric... I was in a hurry or I would have loved to quilt the pattern into this quilt. I made 2 Christmas cats last year and used a swirl on white (tone on tione) background fabric where I quilted the motif and it turned out great!! looked just like snow swirls...I have to go to my Mom"s to photo that wall hanging and then I will share it here, too. I am very glad you like my work...I would be violent without hand work !!!! giggle

Nice work. I love the scarecrows and would love to have a pattern for it.

Whatsoever your hand finds to do ...
    and, you done good! <g>
You can post often, but only three pics at a time (as I understand it) ...
The program isn't designed to download more than pictures during each posting, I guess.
I am glad you learned how to post the pictures ... it is so fun for us to see and inspirational, too!
I never let my kids participate in Halloween, either ... but go figure!
Our youngest daughter who is over thirty ... LOVES halloween ... she is a morbid type child, but has a good and loving heart.
She just finished making twelve dozen cookies for our blood drive next week ... she does all our cooking for the family ... so, she isn't totally lost
    but, I digress ...
It is a pretty special gift to be able to pay attention to the detail work of your wall hangings. (I know it is a gift because I am not a detail person <g>)
