We all help our children when they need us but after a year of living like a hoarder, and I'm not joking, my dear son and his children have moved out and I have my sewing room back to myself. When I say he moved out though he still has a large pile neatly stacked in the laundry room but I am just happy to have my own area back again. I can't wait to get in there and mess it all up!

the finishing touches have to be put on like there is a new set of shelves coming today for all my quilt books and I have a 4 drawer filing cabinet in the back room full of patterns and cross stitch kits (my other hobby) but not bad for an after noons work. Where the computer area now is was a huge 8 foot work bench because ds has his own computer business and it took over 3/4 of the room.

great space - even a spot to take a nap when that seam ripper gets too much lol. You have quite the stash but I see some empty shelves behind your printer. Perhaps you could fill it with the fabric from that first cabinet that you are going to send to me for my linens in my bathroom!!!

Nice large area! I know it's good to have it back...I'd feel the same way.

Love to see 'em, and love to see 'em go :)

    I'm jealous too.
I lost my sewing room for the next 12 years or so.
We have custody of our 2 grandchildren now soooo.....
they get my room, I have ALL of my stash in my bedroom and my machine is in the living room. Not the best place for it but, the kids come first.
