I didn't have a pattern. I used the youtube tutorial and here is the link to it:

Love the quilt. As for the binding, have you ever put it on by machine. I first square up the quilt (trim), sew the binding on the back, bring it over to the front, and finished sewing the binding on the front. It works perfectly and you don't have to do it by hand. Some of my friends even use a fancy stitch when sewing on the front and its looks wonderful. Good luck!

Just gorgeous coloration! I'm with the other person who said she finds binding relaxing. So do I, plus the quilt keeps me warm while I sit in front of the TV and finish the binding! The part I hate is squaring up the quilt because I have to do it on the floor and I'm now at the age and butt size where getting up and down is an undignified process, not to mention how much it kills my back. LOL I love your quilt.

Beautiful French Braid!!!! I can hardly wait as I get mine back from the LAQ on Thursday!!!!!
I pieced this batik quilt for my daughter back in December and was folded and set aside till I find the desire to quilt it. I love using my long arm but it is the thought of binding that kills me. I just hate binding seriously and don't know why (sigh).
Anyways my daughter has been bugging me to finish it since she loves it and I just couldn't stand the idea of disappointing her as I know she loves every quilt I make and I enjoy that A Lot.
Thanks for looking
