    Red face Finished! 3D Pinwheels wall hanging

    I learned to make these 3D pinwheels at our March Guild meeting. The pattern was in a recent Quilt magazine. This is for my dear sister's 59th birthday, which was two days ago, but she'll have to wait to get it until after the 9th of April, so I can take it to the April Guild meeting! She is a very understanding sister....

    The finished size of this is 30" by 30".

    Even after this was lovingly handquilted and then bound in the pink, I felt it needed a little more, so I added yo-yo's and buttons to the centers of all of the pinwheels. Hope you like it!

    P.S. If you saw the pic of the Lancaster AQS show, there is a 3D pinwheel quilt there. I might decide to let that one inspire me next....
