I finished this and I have a few days to spare before the baby is due. My dd is due on the 20th of this month and it is the 11 and I am going to mail these to her. I did have them almost done before I gave them to her at her baby shower. They don't know the sex of the baby.

This is our second grandchild our dd first. They lived in FL and now live in WI and are only 2 hours away. Our grandson just turned one and I didn't get the one finished for his birthday so I will do it for Christmas

I stitched around the animals and tried stippling in between. I had the back side up so I could go around the animals.

I am absolutely in love with that quilt! It is adorable!!!!! Great idea on the different stitches, too.
