Started on Thursday.... Finished top at 3am last night.....Got to be finished by tomorrow!!!!!

Rush job, haven't done ANYTHING else but sew, sew, sew, sew, oh quick visit to the loo, NOTHING else has been touched, DH done all of the cooking, and helped me enormously choosing the layout and patterns...

But I think it has been worth all the hard work, made a boo boo, the rocket in the bottom left corner is heading back to earth instead of space!!!! :D

Sorry picture not great, stood on chair, and just held camera as high as I could, it was 3am!!!

Thanks everyone!! Boy it's hard work when you have such a short deadline, but I know it will be appreciated, the baby is due any day and this is a special present from the Grandparents, yet another of my quilts that will be going to the U.K.

This is my first commissioned quilt which adds MORE pressure on, that doing it for yourself or your family   :D

I DO like a challenge though

Well back to the sewing machine, I have had my 10 mins tea break lol!! :D Sorry for not posting many messages, will catch up soon with all your lovely projects :D

    WOW!!!!!! WOOW!!!!!

I wish I had some of your talent. I can't believe you have done that so quickly.

    It's beautiful.

When (not if) SD has a baby I'm going to have to get pointers from you. She got married in August. We are hoping sooner than later. I think they want to be married for a year first. They have dated forever.

This quilt is definitely a keepsake. :D

Wow, you knocked yourself out doing that. It's adorable. I think the rocket looks just fine, it's re-entering, okay? Now, take a nap.

It's beautiful! I hate to work on a deadline--takes all the fun out of it! But it came out great, and the little guy will love it! Now, go take a nap!
