I'm impressed with the whole quilt and the quilt maker. Did you ever take a break or sleep? The finished product is great. Thanks for sharing.

No Izy, got some dreaded lurgy while I was in England, the Kids all had it and very kindly gave it to us both.

Feeling loads better today, but not quite up to par yet.

Izy, are you guys out of fabric? Useing shirts is very resourceful of you. I would never have known if you did'nt mention it. Have a good rest because you'll probably be off and running soon! Have a happy holiday season!

Jan, I have learnt just to be resourceful, there was only 2 baby blue fabrics in the only four shops I could find, and they were the wrong shade...so gotta use whatever I can lay my hands on...DH has locked his wardrobe now

Thanks Jim's Gem...well I think you have gathered by now how scarce fabrics are here in Spain...When I went to the ONE charity shop we have, and bought about six shirts with one in particular that I liked, it is black with a blue and white stripe, really striking, straight away I thought that would make a lovely border......well DH asked me what I had in the bag, so fessed up about buying shirts for patchwork..guess which one he took a shine to?.... yep DH has it hanging in his closet...for now anyway
