To keep the corners from curling in, sew a finished piece of fabric in the shape of a triangle in the 4 corners, then get 2 small dowels (small in diameter) to insert in the corners (like a cross). The dowels should be long enough to stretch the quilt back in a flat shape. I hope that you are able to understand the information. The corners are similar to the corners on a child's tent or maybe an adult tent when using the fiberglass rods.

Beautiful wall hanging. I did the same thing with a small cross stitch that I framed with fabric and quilted, putting it on the door of the cabinet in my studio.

On the walls, DH doesn't mind using "monkey hooks". They leave a tiny hole in the wall and hold a lot of weight. Good for sheet rock but not pannelling.

I have used the removeable hangers. I was disappointed in their performance. I had used 2 of them to hold a thread rack. In a months time while I was away, everything came down. It even tore the paper on the sheet rock. So I had some wall repair to do with filler, sanding and Painitng. So needless to say, don't put too much weight on the hangers, even if they say they will hold 40 pounds.

My husband hates to see holes in the walls also. He isn't a contractor, just a hubby that greatly dislikes to do repairs. LOL!! I will use your tip about the ring thingys for my wall hangings and keep hubby happy. LOL!

Just figured I'd share my idea in case other hubbys out there are just like mine. :) Hope you are all having a great day.
Just careful with those 3M removeable hangers.....I have had several of them "give up" and pics and stuff have fallen off the walls (usually in the middle of the night, scaring everyone when they hear the thud!!!!!) I have found that using "dull" sewing machine needles for light things really leave the tiniest hole in the wall...that's what spackle is for!!!! I don't think I have a wall in our house that doesn't have something hanging on it.....enjoy your house and your "stuff"......
