Finished FMQ king size on my 6600
#1
It can be done! I finished FMQ this king size "hydrangea quilt" on my Janome Memory Craft 6600. (This is the quilt i was short on fabric, and received some from a generous board member.) In the past I have quilted up to full size quilts on my 6600, but never one this large.
My inspector gave her stamp of approval.

You know what.....you are unbelieveable and definitely somebody to admire! I'm just starting to delve into FMQ as sending it to be prefessionally quilted is hitting my pocket and even more so these days. So am getting as much information as I can....then will give it a go. Wish I was as good as you and then wouldn't be so nervous. Anyway great job and well done.

Beautiful quilt. I have also done a king on my Janome 6600. It wasn't bad at all.
Jansquiltn, I bet those shoulders are all tensed up. Been there, done that. When you are quilting, stop and check out those shoulders, take a few deep breaths and make them go down where they are supposed to be. I get up and stretch every 1/2 hour and sometimes I go somewhere and sit and relax. (My porch swing, the recliner with the laptop, etc.) It really helps.
