Default Finished hand quilting old pieced top

As promised here's the photo of antique quilt. Finished binding this hand quilted old jewel. Each plate is about 22" across. I had asked and received lots of guidance on how to quilt this. I did a feather design in the centers, stitched approximately 1/4 " all around inside of blades. Made a straight crosshatch in all the plain white areas. A small ivy borders winds along the border. I chose to bind in navy, as some suggested. I used 496 yards of quilting thread. Thanks for all the great suggestions.

Beautiful!!! You did a great job! I love to hand quilt too. Some quilts just require it to look their best.

Beautiful finish. You saved a great quilt and your techniques lend it great authenticity. A real jewel to be admired.

Just beautiful I can't hand quilt anything larger than a wall hanging, hands go numb but I surely do admire anyone who can do it.
