I like it. You must have a lot of patience.

Thank you! I'm tempted to go and try to make one smaller, but it is getting late and I work tomorrow.

Oh what a lovely little quilt! Your piecing is just great! IMHO I have found the least amount of quilting on the small ones is often the best. I feel one wants to highlight those small pieces oftentimes quilting detracts from it.
OBTW your binding looks great. What don't you like about it. If you want it narrower, I have had really good luck with a single fold binding cut 1 1/4" wide. B4 I sew it to the quilt, I turn under the hemmed edge 1/4" and press. Then sew the binding (usually straight edged) to the quilt folding and flipping the corners as in most instructions to get a mitered corner. I trim batting and backing to 1/4" and then fold over. My folded edge is now ready to be sewn down. You can also sew the binding on the back instead of the front and them machine stitch the binding on the quilt. Am I making any sense?
Go to search feature-type in binding tutorial and many topics will come up to help you with your bindings.
Keep practicing--Bindings have always been a bugaboo of mine and all of a sudden this summer things just clicked and I am usually very pleased with my binding results.
PS if you don't like your mini--I'll take it LOL

Thank you all!

I gave the quilt to Uncle John yesterday and he is pleased. At first he thought it was too big too, but after some thought he does think it will work. He is going to let me know after trying it out! He will be back home in 2 weeks!

I have a picture to share later!

Hugs!!!!
