Thanks for all the comments.I Really enjoy coming to this board, you are my teachers.Sorry my quilt was upside down. And thanks for turning it around.I posted from my i-Pad,and it showed right side up on it.But I see on my computer that it's upside down.My twin size pattern was a 13 Charm quilt, which had strata sets. I made to many strata sets,so I had a lot of strips left already sewed. Which I used to make the middle of the quilt. The quilt was to be small, maybe lap.We were using the twin across the bottom of our bed,and I really liked the feel of the quilt. So I decided if I found more fabric, a quilt for my bed was happening !! I wish I would of searched sooner for left overs on the internet. I could of arranged the front different. But as life goes the scraps gave me the courage to create with what I had,and to try that King size (which is on my bucket list),my bed is just queen but the drop is big.The P points were on the twin too, they are really neat the way the pattern had me create them.A 4 inch square, folded in haft, serged on the folded side with a three thread overlock, with the cutter down, then the pretty thread shows on top when the folded side comes together to make point.I was really confused, when I started the P points and started reading books trying to figure out a different way, really fighting and thinking.I wanted more directions. And all my books did them different! I ended up following the pattern directions, and glad I did.I like the way they are sewed on,with the binding in the back.
