    That's really nice.... love the quilting on it. Your sister better consider herself one lucky girl to get it, being you don't want to give it up.

    I always heard that you should select (make) a gift that you would really like to have yourself. That is a really comfortable looking, cozy quilt!

    thanks everyone, it was really fun to make, came together nicely and is actually the right size for a change (not long and narrow, or wide and short...it actually looks good on the bed)
    it is so soft...the flannels are wonderful! i did use muslin foundation to piece the blocks and warm and natural batting...now to do the binding...right after my boss returns it, he took quite a shining to it, and is out running around his neighborhood showing it off ;)
