I think they both are Gorgeous!! I will admitt though that I do like the "Loud" and 1st one best. So Springy and bright..
My two boys (14)have been trying to convince me they want to paint their rooms, one red and the other orange, up until this point I have cringed at the thought. With that said I have to say the orange in the picture looks very nice.. I may be softening on the orange..hmm.... may I get the name and brand name of the paint if you have any idea what it is?
I went back and looked at the picture again and the tye dye material in it is what my one son picked for his star quilt.
Thank you for sharing your quilts.

Thanks! I've got it all basted and ready to quilt. I'm kinda procrastinating getting started because I do my quilting on a regular machine and it's like wrestling an alligator. I did, however, recently get an industrial Singer 31-15 (treadle, of course), and if I can figure out why it's skipping stitches while I fm quilt, it be a great candidate for this job. :) I call him Bubba cuz he's a BIG machine.

Love the quilts! I am interested in seeing a treadle in action! I remember sewing on one when I first went to 7th grade home economics class... I had a time then cuz I was sooooo short! Then they had gotten the electric machines with knee presser action.. that was better for me. But I so would love to have a treadle machine and use one now that I have "grown up" lol. I hope you figured out the stitching problem. Originally Posted by Happy Treadler

Isn't it funny how we're all different? I'd pick your daughter's quilt over the more neutral one every time. Nice work on both though.
