Thanks everyone. I just found out that our ( reunion committee) is planning a 45th reunion for us next year. I think I will donate it to the class raffle- one of my classmates from 45 years ago will win it. ( hopefully one that sort of liked me. )

It's gorgeous. The stars are really an incredible addition. Just so ya know -I like colorful gifts too! Just sayin!

You sound like me. While I am working on a quilt I often think about the one I 'think' I'm making it for. Then someone will see it and want it for theirselves or for a different charity.

I really am glad you showed this. You made a beautiful quilt. I love Irish Chains and have thought more than once to make one with stars for QOV. I don't have this pattern but I don't think it would be hard to put a star in the empty block. Your idea for your class reunion is great. Wish I had been in your class- lol

Oh — I hadn’t thought of doing one for a Quilts of Valor! I might just have to make another one. Now that I ( worked out) the process I think a patriotic one would be wonderful
