There is no glue at all. You must be very careful not to tip it or sneeze on it. After all pieces are where you want them, you place a piece of tulle over the entire picture (I used black tulle), pin it quite close together and then free motion quilt it with monofilament thread. You also quilt it close together, the thread doesn't show at all on the front & I used matching thread for the back. Does that make sense?

Do you have her video? I would like to buy it from her site, but she gives absolutely no description about just what she covers in the video. Whenever I buy quilting videos, there is always a brief description of it's contents and how long the video lasts.

I took two close up photos, one of the white areas and one of her eyes, the tulle shows in the close ups but not on the quilt. I also attached a photo of the fabric snips before covering with tulle.

Karen, you make a good point. I know this is Jan's first video and she is still learning the best way to do this. I will email her your comments and concerns. Keep checking her website as I am sure she will make changes and improvements. I don't have her video as I took her class but I will see if I can watch it.

Fantastic! I would love to learn how to do that. Did you learn the technique from Jan's video?

I take it Rosie is a Sheltie. We have her cousin, Cody. I do love your quilt, and would like to make Cody one. Thanks for posting.
