This is the Mystery Quilt that our Guild offered this year. It looks rectangular, but is actually 50" square. Clues were given monthly for 7 months. Everyone who participates will show off their finished quilts in December. This was quite a challenge, but I'm pleased with the outcome. Now just have to figure out how to quilt it. Suggestions?

Also....MANY THANKS to "jadcow" and "quiltinghere" for their help in finding more of the black hibiscus fabric. Couldn't have done it without you, ladies!! Karen

Very pretty! Quilting suggestions? Not from me....I do random swirly thingys all over my quilts, and once in a while a pantograph.

Aren't mystery quilts fun? Love yours and the way it turned out. I would lock it all down with a sitd, then maybe swirls

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words and quilting suggestions. Need to ponder that for a while yet.

    Yes, pineapple squares....4" square....25 pieces each....whew!!

The Mystery included directions for a miniature quilt that ends up half the size of this one. I started out doing both, but the little one is on the shelf. The thought of making 32 2" pineapples was a trifle overwhelming. There is a checkerboard option, though, so I may do that instead.

Thanks again....have a great day! Karen
