Maybe something to give movement to each of the monkey wrench blocks. A curvy patttern that goes from the center to the outer square of each color? Or fish? Had to add that because of the quilt name.

did the catalog show the quilt with the quilting designs visible on it at all? They usually do and that always gives me ideas.

Love the fabrics and design. How about outlining the design in each block. Whatever you select, it is lovely. Have fun at the wedding.

Very pretty quilt top! For machine quilting, how about some wavy lines across the pieced part of the quilt, then some swirls in the border (like ocean waves).

there was a quilting design with the pattern however it seems more appropriate for Longarm quilting. perhaps i can adapt it for DSM.

Your quilt top is beautiful! Firrst check the quilting requirements on the batt you are going to use. If it says up to 10 inches apart, I think I would stitch in the ditch along the 8 inch block lines on the diagonal. This would give you a large crosshatch pattern. After that was done, if I still had time, I would go back and either hand quilt or machine quilt a little more.

Beautiful quilt. I love your color choices. I don't have any quilting ideas either. I'm sure whatever you do will be gorgeous.

Very pretty and great colors, I would just do a large stipple or meander. I do that on almost all of my quilts. I love it and is fast and easy.
