So personalized!! I love it! Someone will really cherish this one! I bet there might be a tear or two in their eye when the y see this. It brought goose-bumps to me. Thank you for sharing such a special piece.

It was a custom order, made from his t-shirts and uniforms that he's worn throughout the years in training and on the job. yes - definitely personalized. He just loved it. It was actually my first "paid" quilting job. :) His wife ordered it from me, to make for him for valentines day.

Thank you all for your compliments - I still consider myself pretty new at this, and it means a lot to hear such nice things coming from others who enjoy quilting.

My sister said the same thing when she saw it :) I don't really like the thought of making people cry ... but it is the ultimate compliment when it's because of something like this.

I am from a small town in NC and we have 18 vol fire depts in our county...... I collected a tshirt from each and will be making a tshirt quilt. This is georgous!
