Will this be raffled to raise funds or donated to a family affected by fires?

I plan on quilting it, then giving it to the fire dept. and they can do what ever they wish. We are hoping to get a new fire station so it might be hung up in there as a display.

It's a lovely quilt. Quite different from Crismah's fireman quilt. Just goes to show, no two quilts are the same.

Super quilt? Where did you find all the wonderful fireman fabric? My nephew started the academy in VA the Monday after New Years. He had already passed everything in MI and was certified as an EMT/paramedic but had to start everything over in VA. At least he has a job. It would be neat to give something like this to him when he graduates. Oh no, another project.

Certainly one "HOT" quilt! Where did you get the flames? DH is a firefighter here in Seattle and I know he would love to have a quilt with flames. :)

WONDERFUL quilt!!! You should suggest that they do a raffle for it. 100 tickets at $20 each would not be hard to sell & would net $2000 toward their new building. Have 25 or so pictures printed & put the quilt info on the back. Get 25 people to go out & sell tickets - get a print shop to donate the tickets. You may need a raffle license in your state, but there should be a local group that has one who would sponsor the raffle.
