Default First attempt at this ever....

I am so excited.... I am not a sewer (except quilts). Several people posted a link to MS site for a tute to make a tote..and it looked kinda easy..so I gave it a try tonight. I do have some boo boo's in it...BUT nothing major. The next one I make will be a bigger one... just to try different sizes out. Thanks for looking..... HAPPY NEW YEARS everyone...

I watched that tute last night and I think you did a great job. I have made mayt totes and am now excited about this new method. I love you fabric choices.

Looks great. I haven't made a proper tote yet (did make a denim lunchbag for my husband....but is hardly toteworthy). Love the fabrics you have chosen.

    Nicely done. Good fabric choices.

I watched the tute the other night and it is definitely on my 'to do list'. It's a great way to use up bits of leftover charms and looks really easy to put together.

I must have missed this tute. Can you share it so I can check it out, too. Your bag looks perfect.
