First Barn Quilt in my area

I am so happy to see Barn Quilt in our area! That barn was asking for it for years.

Perfect! I want to make one for a storage shed we are going to build. It won't really look like a barn though.

I'm a great lover of barn quilts, and since we travel about in our RV I see quite a few. Love it when we go up some of the secondary roads and see them - I know my sisters are nearby!

What a beautiful shot - thanks for posting!
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

Makes me wish I had a barn so I could have one on display.

That is a pretty one on that white barn. It does add so much doesn't it?

I love barn quilts and want my son to learn how to do them. I have a shed that is just begging for one. I don't think there is a rule about needing a barn to display it. A garage, a house, a shed I think any of those would work.

It sure adds a pop of color...I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in my neck of the woods.

I always get a heart-warmed feeling when I see a barn quilt. We have seen quite a few on secondary roads or county roads as we travel from time to time in our RV. They just light up the area. Thank you for posting this one. It is so pristine on that white barn under a wonderful blue sky.

Here's one I did on our shed doors, which may give you an idea.
