Default First charity quilt finished

This is my first donation quilt for the guild I joined last fall. I posted a picture of the FMQ'ing on the back to encourage those of you hesitant to try. It's not even close to perfect, but the wonky-ness of it matches the theme fabric, so it works. It felt really good to hand it over yesterday.

Colors are really nice. I tried to use the best fabric and batting that I can afford for my charity quilt. You want to donate a quilt that you would also be pleased to receive. Try to remember to never stop on a curve. Kind of hard with this cute quilting design.

Love your quilt! And thanks for posting the picture of the FMQ'ing! I've just done my first trial piece of FMQ and can really appreciate now how hard it is... Your picture encourages me to not wait to try on a "real" quilt until I think it looks perfect (because that day may never come...). Looking at your quilt as a whole, it doesn't seem to matter all that much!

You did a great job. You'll get smoother with practice. Love your quilt and colors, too

I really like the bright colours of your quilt and the quilting is whimsical and fun. Thank you for encouraging those of us that are nervous to try new patterns like this for FMQ. I can almost see you doing this. Thank you for the lesson. I know the person that is chosen to love your quilt will treasure this.
