    This is my first quilt. No pattern whatsoever and it is horrible even for a first quilt. It's tied but the way I bound it I can quilt it later(which I plan to)
    So anyway, here you go!

    I think you did a great job for your first effort. The only thing I might suggest...it's hard to tell from the picture how close your ties are together. You need to read on your batting and make sure you follow their directions. If you don't tie close enough together your batting (especially cotton) may bunch after you wash it. Trust me, I learned this lesson the hard way :) My friend's grandson has a quilt that looks like little hamsters are living in it. Anyway, you did very well!!!!

    There are no terrible quilts. Be proud that you finished it, and take what you have learned for the next one...I am glad to see others willing to show their firsts and accept the praises from the quilters who have done many. I am an inexperienced quilter compared to many on here, but still feel at home here with the "pros". everyone is so nice, I enjoy it.
