AGREE!!!!! Terrific first quilt. Mine was a rail fence, tied, took a children's class since I was insecure about not doing it right. In an effort to shop in my stash, I pulled out an old project yesterday. The friendship stars were originally made probably ten years ago when I started out. Now I know the are really POINTLESS friendship stars. I've learned a lot since those early years and continue to learn from many sources ...you tube, books, classes, and the endless internet sources including this board that I LOVE.

You need to enter it in your state fair under category" my first quilt."..
it is definitely a blue ribbon winner!!!!
