Great jelly roll quilt, love your choice of colors. I too am a fan of the walking foot. I can be a little dense in the head at times, and just learned last year that the walking foot for my Janome machine, there are additional feet for the walking foot that you can buy and swap them out. It has been a whole new world for me. I have bought the 1/4 inch foot and use it alot.

What a lovely quilt! You chose a jellyroll that lent itself to this quilt pattern. I have made a couple but most were rather ho-hum Yours made such a nice modern but balanced finish for the eye.

Congrats on a great finish for your first JR. It's always wonderful to learn something new when making quilts. I love the WF for quilting.

What a great eye for color you have. I love the semi-controlled placement of your colors and strips. The colors are warm and intense. Really makes a statement. Looks like you've been quilting for ages. A++

I used the red fabrics that I had been collecting for one of my best friends. Since she homeschooled all 5 children, I'm sure she will appreciate my education and overlook the flaws.

P. S. walking foot: where have you been all my life?
