I machine quilted the red, blue and cream (Cats Crossing). The first "big" quilt I've done by machine. The Star quilt is my first free motion, which I did with feathers. The rest is standard machine quilting. I rather like them both

I really like them both! Nice work! I'm especially fond of red/white/blue quilts. Those colors go so well together.

Sophie is the official quilt judge. It's not a quilt until she sits on it.

The red/cream/blue one is simply a staight line stitch under the houses. The gold/tan one doesn't have any quilting in the outer border. The multi-colored border is a double line diamond.

are you talking with a regular machine? any pointers. I am doing a king size and doing it in three sections and then then sewing the sections together. Its a pain. I have one more section to do and then will put the borders on and quilt them

My Sophie is so sweet. She, unfortunately, is in kidney failure, but doing fine for the moment.
