    I told my daughter that any quilting/sewing projects anyone asked me to do for one year I would ask for them to pay for the fabric and then keep track of my hours and ask them to give money for the labor (whatever amount they choose) and I would give that money to her and her soon to be (only THREE weeks) husband as they minister on the mission field... this is the first project - - - it is only pieced at this point - I'll post more after it's quilted...

    What an attractive use of flying geese! and, of course the pinwheels just really keep that quilt moving right along. I like the colors, and I think your plan is great! Onward!

    Actually there are no flying geese in this quilt - I take an eight inch block, add a 4.75 inch to two opposite corners, trim, iron open then cut in half both ways and then put the blocks together with those four pieces. I need two 8 " blocks for two finished blocks.
