Thread: First quilt done by my Juki and LGII

    This is the first quilt I've quilted on my Juki and frame. It was from the Easy Quilts Summer 08 issue. It was a lot of fun!

    We're having her baby shower tomorrow at lunch. Hopefully I'll get the pix attached--this is my first try!

    Thanks everyone. Needless to say, I was very nervous about this. I knew what I wanted to do in the pinwheel blocks and flowers, but really had to think for the sashing and border. I've been sewing since I was about 50 years, but this machine quilting is something totally new to me, but so much fun!!

    I've got lots to learn!

    do you have a stitch regulator....I don't and it took alot of practice to get even stitches...yours are great

    Yes, I do have the Sure Stitch Regulator. I didn't do very well without it! And I also have the upgraded carriage. It is so nice and smooth. I couldn't make circles with the wooden one. Even though it was put together tightly, it seemed to give one way or the other. I bought the upgraded carriage and wouldn't do without it.
