    Default First quilt... kinda

This is the first quilt I've ever finished myself! The binding is the first binding I've ever attempted. It's not very good, but it wasn't as hard as I thought. I didn't have enough, so I used other fabric on the corners. And it's too wide. Other than that, I am pleased with how it turned out. I've had the top for a while and haven't really liked it. The greens don't match and it had green borders on it. I took the borders off and replaced it with something with some color. I am not sure if I like it either, but it matches well. I started at 10:00 this morning and finished around 8:30 tonight with laundry and meals interrupting.

That's very pretty. Isn't it a shame how laundry and meals interrupt what's important?

It's a very fine beginning. Look at any tree or garden and you will see a variety of greens mixed together in nature.

It looks great, you should be pleased! Your binding can be any size you like, no quilt police here.
