    Jane, I don't think you could have done anything else that will inspire her for her entire life like this will. Either she, or her sister for whom the quilt was made, will treasure it for all their days. I know you've got to be "bustin' your buttons proud" of her. I think it's terriffic! I was the next-to-oldest in my family, but I was the one who wanted to sew. My sisters now, both of them, wish they had spent more time learning to sew, but neither one feels that they have the patience to make quilts. Your granddaughter definitely manifests the patience and the pride in her work.
